Frequently asked questions about SignalsTrades

What is SignalsTrades?
SignalsTrades is a free algorithmic forex and crypto signal generator. It checks 12 independent market rules in real time and outputs a BUY or SELL signal with entry price, take profit, and stop loss. No login or payment is required.
How does SignalsTrades generate signals?
Each signal checks 12 rules simultaneously: RSI overbought/oversold, Fear & Greed Index, 5-day vs 20-day price momentum, trading session timing, round level proximity, USD broad trend, historical support and resistance, win streak, news sentiment, economic calendar events, gold safe-haven correlation, and triangle breakout patterns. Rules that fire in the same direction vote for BUY or SELL. The confidence score (55-95%) reflects how many rules agree.
Is SignalsTrades free?
Yes. SignalsTrades is completely free with no subscription, credit card, or registration required. Select a currency pair and generate a signal instantly.
What currency pairs are supported?
SignalsTrades covers 33 instruments: forex majors (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, USD/CHF, AUD/USD, USD/CAD, NZD/USD and more), metals (XAU/USD gold, XAG/USD silver), crypto (BTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD, XRP/USD, BNB/USD, ADA/USD), oil (OIL/USD), and indices (SPX/USD, NAS/USD).
What does the confidence score mean?
The confidence score (55-95%) shows how strongly the 12 rules agree on a direction. At 55%, only 1-2 rules fired. At 95%, most of the 12 rules aligned. Higher confidence signals have more supporting evidence but are rarer.
What do entry, take profit, and stop loss mean?
Entry is the recommended price to open the trade. Take profit (TP) is the target price to close for a gain. Stop loss (SL) is the exit price to limit losses. SignalsTrades calculates these automatically based on current price and pair-specific pip values.
How accurate are the signals?
Accuracy varies by market conditions. The win rate shown on the homepage is based on closed signals over the past 30 days. Trading involves risk. No signal service guarantees profits. Always use stop losses.
What is the RSI rule?
RSI (Relative Strength Index) measures overbought and oversold conditions on a 0-100 scale. SignalsTrades fires a BUY when RSI falls below 30 (oversold, price likely to bounce) and a SELL when RSI exceeds 70 (overbought, price likely to fall).
What is the Fear & Greed rule?
The Fear & Greed Index measures overall market sentiment. SignalsTrades uses it as a contrarian indicator: Extreme Fear (below 25) generates a BUY signal because markets often bottom during panic. Extreme Greed (above 75) generates a SELL signal because markets often top during euphoria.
What is the USD Broad Trend rule?
This rule checks 5 major USD currency pairs simultaneously to determine if the US dollar is broadly strengthening or weakening. A broad USD move affects all USD-paired instruments in the same direction, making it a high-confidence macro signal.
What is the Session Open rule?
Forex markets see peak volatility in the first 90 minutes of each major session open (London at 07:00 UTC, New York at 12:00 UTC). This rule detects whether a session just opened and the pair historically moves in a predictable direction during that window.
How do I get signals on Telegram?
Join the free Telegram channel at t.me/SignalsTradesSignals to receive every new signal automatically when it is generated.
Can I use SignalsTrades on mobile?
Yes. SignalsTrades is a progressive web app that works on all mobile browsers. No app download required.
How often can I generate signals?
Signals are cached for 5 minutes per pair to prevent overloading market data sources. After 5 minutes, a fresh signal can be generated for the same pair.
What is price momentum in the signal?
The price momentum rule compares the 5-day average closing price to the 20-day average. If the short-term average is above the long-term average, price is in upward momentum (BUY). If below, it is in downward momentum (SELL). This captures sustained directional moves.
What is a triangle breakout?
A triangle breakout occurs when price has been compressing into a narrowing range (lower highs, higher lows). When the range contracts significantly, a breakout is imminent. SignalsTrades detects compression in recent price data and signals the likely breakout direction.
