SignalsTrades track record

By the SignalsTrades Research Desk · Last reviewed September 2026

This page shows the historical accuracy of signals generated by the SignalsTrades 13-rule algorithm. All figures are derived from the engine's own database of closed trades. A signal is counted as a win when its take profit (TP) was hit, and as a loss when its stop loss (SL) was hit. Open signals are excluded from all calculations.

How results are calculated

What win rate means

A 60% win rate means 6 out of 10 closed signals hit TP. At a 1.6:1 risk-reward ratio (TP 40 pips, SL 25 pips on forex majors), a 60% win rate produces a positive expected value. The formula is: (win rate × TP pips) minus (loss rate × SL pips). At 60% and 1.6:1, that is: (0.60 × 40) minus (0.40 × 25) = 24 minus 10 = +14 pips per signal on average.

What win rate does not mean

Win rate is not a return on investment. Pip values depend on position size, leverage, and account currency. A positive expected value per signal does not prevent drawdowns. All trading involves losing periods regardless of long-run accuracy.

How far back does the data go?
The database contains all signals generated since the engine went live. The earliest record date is shown in the data table above. Signals before the September 2026 rebuild used an earlier algorithm version.
Are these results audited or verified by a third party?
No. These results are drawn directly from the SignalsTrades database. They have not been independently verified. The data is presented as-is for informational purposes. Treat all algorithmic track records with appropriate skepticism.
Why exclude metals and crypto from the pip average?
Gold (XAU/USD), Bitcoin, and other non-forex instruments use price points as their unit of measurement, not pips. A "pip" on gold is not comparable to a pip on EUR/USD. Mixing them would produce a meaningless average. The 30-day average win figure applies to forex majors only.
